Addiction

I am sick of addiction, sick of someone else's addiction being my battle to fight. Sick of my father's loyalty that was passed on to me, being the thing that I hate right now. If there is something that the Lord has for me to learn, I am open to it. I only ask that He reveal it to me soon. I am sick of addiction.

Took a stress test this morning and at the end of all these questions was:
Live a life of JOY dependent on God
Not a life of bondage dependent on ourselves
For we will always be a slave to our expectations and our limitations
How much better to be free
Directed by His path, sheltered in His wings, secure in His arms...

People will always let us down...always.....He never will, but we SEE people and always start counting on them.....addicted or not people will always let us down...praying BIG prayers for you to see yourself in and under HIS protection......b

Yes, well, loyalty is a family problem...er strong point. Ummm, some would call it stubbornness! LOLOL. You come by it honestly from both sides, and it's part of what makes you the wonderful person that you are.
What can I do to help you, sweetie? You know we are all here for you, even when we don't seem to be.

Hang in there. God is covering you. Praise Him through trials, tough as it may be. Praying for you this week.

I am sorry that you are frustrated. Its not fair. You care so much. I have a lot of learning to do as well. I heard Alanon is a good place for those who have lived along side an addict. You have a recovery to go through too.

I really like what BJK has to say, that was cool.

Hope all is well with you and don't forget to take time for yourself.
