Fantastic Surprise and the surgery

At work we are a team. One boss, one salesman and four project managers are the makeup of our team. We call ourselves the "Bad News Bears". We are the fun-loving loud team at our work!
Our boss arranged for a year end surprise yesterday for our team! We have had a great year and with me about to be out for 4-6 weeks, we had Christmas a little early!

We took a Limo to Chicago for the whole day. That is right, NO WORK! We went to Macy's and saw the Christmas tree and then to the Sear's Tower.
We found this cute little shop as soon as we made our first stop in Chicago. How cute is that? And me doing my very best red-neck version of Vanna! lol

This is a photo from the 7th floor of Macy's looking down at all the escalators. I haven't figured out how to rotate the pictures. hehe... Sorry, you will just have to turn your head sideways to see how cool it really is.

And the tree... sorry, yet another head turner ;-)

We were trying to figure out just how much he cost!

This photo is overlooking Soldier Field. Home of Da Bears! My Bears, who we will NOT be discussing this football season. And out on the point is the Shedd Aquarium. We were going to try and make it there, but we ran out of time. That is ok, because that was going to be a special trip for Bill and I! I am glad that our trip didn't get spoiled by yesterday's events!

We went to Brazzaz to eat lunch, which is my absolute most favorite restaurant of all time. If you are ever in Chicago and you like meat, you MUST eat there. Google it, I am telling you... it's love. Me and Brazzaz forever! Then we walk to Garrett's popcorn place. Which I didn't eat because I stuffed my face at BRAZZAZ's! From there to Water Tower Mall. We got to see all the cool shops on the Magnificent Mile. I was such a blessing to be able to spend the entire day doing what we wanted completely paid for! I work for such an awesome company. They have been nothing but a blessing to me and my family!

This is looking down the levels at the Water Tower Mall~!

I will be offline completely for the next month! YUCK! I feel it will be time well spent. I plan on doing ALOT of reading and Kathy, my awesome co-worker bought me some bamboo needles and yarn! I will try this whole knitting thing again. I fear however to never be as talented as my mom or my auntie!

Have a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Year!
